Enda sedan min resa till Färöarna har jag känt ett behov att hylla mina förfäder och helt enkelt hylla mitt ursprung. Min bakgrund alltid präglat mig och därmed känner jag en anknytning till gamla traditioner.
Modern min är från Färöarna och fadern min är från Sverige och jag har nu blivit fast besluten att inkludera mitt förflutna i bla. mitt spirituella utövande. Därför har jag nu köpt en mungiga och har börjat lära mig att spela. Det blir nog en rolig tradition att inkludera spelandet på mungiga i framtida högtidsriter.
Since my trip to the Faroe Islands, I've felt a need acclaim my ancestors and simply acclaim my origin. My background has always affected me that's why I feel a connection to old traditions.
My mother is from the Faroe Islands and my father is from Sweden and I've become determined to include mu past in, among other things, my spiritual practices. That's why I've purchased a jaws harp and I've started to learn how to play it. It will be a fun tradition to include the playing of the jaws harp in future solemn festive rites.
